In addition to our virtual offerings, remember that we can still come to your clinic and do an in-person inservice on the topic of your choice, based on availability.

This 1-hour inservice for PTs/PTAs will cover prosthetic feet and knees currently available for patients with lower extremity limb loss in the K3 or K4 Medicare Functional Level.  Characteristics of each component will be presented along with patient selection criteria.  Gait training considerations will be presented based on component characteristics.  A certified prosthetist will co-present with a physical therapist.

Community Reintegration Part 2

This 2-hour continuing education course is presented in an interdisciplinary format for PTs, PTAs, OTRs, COTAs, and CPs (Certified Prosthetists). Attendees will learn tips to provide to their patients living with either lower or upper extremity limb loss for navigating common community destinations such as schools, universities, parks, swimming pools, public transportation and recreational activities such as bicycling and fishing. This course will cover what could present barriers for individuals wearing prosthetic devices. Content is derived from a combination of clinical experience on the part of the presenters and wide-ranging feedback from people with years of experience wearing prosthetic limbs.
