SRT receives OPGA Point Freedom Award
SRT Prosthetics & Orthotics was honored with the 2012 OPGA/POINT Freedom Award for their compassionate service and dedication to veterans and active-duty soldiers. The OPGA/POINT Freedom Award recognizes OPGA/POINT members who have provided orthotic and prosthetic fitting and rehabilitation for soldiers wounded in action.
“Every day more and more of our brave men and women in the armed forces suffer amputations resulting from wounds and injuries received in combat,” comments OPGA/POINT President, Dennis Clark.
“Thanks to the contribution of these independent providers, these wounded American heroes are able to return to active lives, and in some cases, active duty. OPGA and POINT Health Centers of America is proud to recognize our member, SRT Prosthetics & Orthotics for their service and commitment to America’s veterans.”
“SRT takes pride in working with our military heroes”, stated Sam Santa-Rita, CEO and prosthetist of SRT. “We have had patients return to active duty, and it gives us great pride in helping them continue in their military careers”.
OPGA (Orthotics and Prosthetics Group of America) and POINT Health Centers of America is a provider-owned network of independently owned orthotic and prosthetic facilities. The OPGA/POINT Freedom Award is presented annually to deserving OPGA/POINT members and is presented in conjunction with Veterans Day.
