ON-SITE RESTORATIONS:

SRT offers on-site custom silicone restorations from all of our offices. Silicone restorations are a unique prosthetic specialty that perform varying functions for amputees. Silicone has the ability to compress tissue, protect sensitive areas from harm and often provide additional functions such as prehensile forces. With the proper fitting, a silicone prosthesis can become a very useful device after amputation and can assist with everyday activities.

QUALITY AND NATURAL LOOK:

The key to meeting expectations for a quality and natural look lies in our comprehensive process. To add the proper details, the patient will work directly with an experienced artisan. To be sure that the prosthesis is clinically sound, we use detailed measurements and plaster molds to determine symmetry and proper fit. The final product is fabricated from a high-quality, medical-grade silicone. Optionally, personal details such as freckles, blood vessels, and acrylic nails can be added to match the patient’s features.
